1. Referral Code Rules (Important)
🔑 Single Referral Code per Customer
Each existing customer (Referrer) has ONE permanent referral code
This referral code:
Works across all active referral programs
Never changes, even if a new referral program is created
🚫 One-Time Usage Rule for New Customers (Referee)
Once a customer uses any referral code, the following rules apply permanently:
A customer can use a referral code only once
If the customer:
Deletes their account ❌
Tries to register again ❌
they cannot use any referral code again
A customer cannot register with a different referral code if:
They have already registered once using any referral code
📌 This rule is enforced using phone number (as implemented by tech).
2. Referral Program (Admin Panel)
Admins can create referral programs with the following fields:
A. Basic Details
Title
Description
B. Minimum Order Value
Applies to both referrer and referee
Rewards are given only if the completed order value meets this amount
C. Rewards for Referee (New Customer)
Applied during checkout.
Fields:
Discount Type (Percentage / Flat Amount)
Discount Value
Maximum Discount (Optional)
Example
10% discount
Max discount ₹300
Device generated price is 5000
rewards will be calculated based on device generated price.
Order value ₹5,000 → 10% = ₹500 → ₹300 applied
Final device value will be ₹5300
Referee will get ₹5000 device value + ₹300 rewards which is ₹5300
D. Rewards for Referrer (Existing Customer)
Reward is calculated after referee completes order
Based on referee’s final completed order value on which the vendor has completed the order
Requires admin approval
Fields:

Example
10% discount
Max discount ₹300
order generated value after the refree rewards is applied is ₹5300
order final value on which the vendor has completed the order is ₹5500
Referrer rewards will be calculated based on the above order final value on which the vendor had completed the order.
Referrer rewards will be ₹550 and due to the maximum discount limit referrer will get below rewards:
Order value ₹5,000 → 10% = ₹530 → ₹300 applied
Referrer will get ₹300 rewards.
3. Referral Flow (Step-by-Step)
Step 1: Referral Sharing
Referrer shares their referral code/link
Same code works for all referral programs
Step 2: New User Registration
New customer registers using referral code
Referral code is locked to that user forever
Referral code cannot be reused by the same user again
Step 3: Referee Reward (Automatic)
After checkout:
Reward applied automatically
Paid by vendor
Transaction status: Approved
Step 4: Referrer Reward (Manual Approval)
Reward generated after referee completes order
Appears in Transactions as Pending
Admin approves → added to wallet
4. Transactions Page
Referee Transactions
Auto-approved
Vendor paid
Cannot be reversed
Referrer Transactions
Admin approval required
Approved → wallet credit
5. Wallet Page (This is for Referrer and it will be in customer app)
Shows:
Total Balance (current available amount)
Total Earned (lifetime)
Total Withdrawn (lifetime)
6. Payouts Page
Referrer requests withdrawal
Appears in Payouts
Admin pays manually and approves
Wallet updates accordingly
7. Fraud & Abuse Prevention (Key Feature)
✔ Permanent referral code per referrer
✔ One-time referral usage per customer
✔ No referral reuse via account deletion
✔ No multiple referral registrations
✔ Clean, abuse-free referral tracking
8. Simple Summary (For Everyone)
Each customer has one fixed referral code for the active program.
A new user can use a referral code only once in their lifetime.
Deleting an account does not reset referral eligibility.
Rewards are given only after order completion and admin approval (for referrer).
