1. Smartphones (Phones)
Overview:
Smartphones make up the majority of Cashkr’s customer orders.
Key Knowledge Areas:
Top brands: Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, Realme, etc.
Device conditions: Excellent / Good / Average / Faulty.
Key valuation factors:
Physical condition (scratches, dents, display condition)
Battery health & performance
Device age & original box/accessories
IMEI status (locked/unlocked, Find My iPhone off)
Common issues: locked phones, cracked screens, activation locks.
Inspection checklist:
Display, battery, camera, mic, speaker, body, and sensors.
2. Laptops
Overview:
Laptops are a growing category for Cashkr’s recommerce vertical.
Key Knowledge Areas:
Top brands: Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, Apple.
Valuation parameters:
Processor (i3, i5, i7, M1, etc.)
RAM & Storage (GB/TB)
Screen condition
Battery health & performance
Physical damage (hinge, keyboard, body)
Inspection checklist:
Power on test, screen brightness, keyboard keys, ports, webcam.
Special scenarios: Corporate buybacks (multiple laptops in bulk).
3. MacBooks
Overview:
MacBooks have unique inspection and pricing logic compared to Windows laptops.
Key Knowledge Areas:
Models: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, M1/M2 chip variants.
Condition categories: Excellent / Good / Fair.
Valuation parameters:
Processor (Intel vs. Apple Silicon)
RAM, Storage, Year of Manufacture.
Physical wear, screen lamination issues, keyboard backlight.
Find My Mac and Apple ID lock must be turned off before pickup.
