Communication Norms

At Cashkr, clear and timely communication keeps us aligned. These norms define how we use Slack, conduct meetings, and handle reporting.

🔹 1. Slack (Primary Communication Tool)

  • Official Communication → All day-to-day communication happens on Slack.

  • Channels:

    • #announcements → Company-wide updates (CEO/Management only)

    • #marketing → Campaigns, reports, creative approvals

    • #ops → Vendor, SLA, order assignments

    • #tech → Bugs, product updates, testing

    • #general → Casual, non-work discussions

  • DMs: Use only for sensitive/urgent matters; otherwise, post in channels for visibility.

  • Response Time:

    • Working hours: Reply within 1–2 hours.

    • Post working hours: Only urgent escalations.

🔹 2. Meetings

  • Daily Stand-ups (Optional per team) → Quick 10–15 min sync if required.

  • Weekly Department Meetings → Progress, blockers, priorities.

  • Monthly All-Hands (CEO-led) → Company performance & goals.

  • Meeting Etiquette:

    • Be on time, keep camera on if remote.

    • Always come with agenda & updates.

    • Summarize key points & action items in Slack after meeting.

🔹 3. Reporting

  • Daily Reports (Ops, Marketing, Tech, Sales) → Sent in respective Slack channels.

  • Weekly Reports → Shared in Slack + added to Zoho Sheets.

  • Monthly Reports → Consolidated by managers → reviewed by CEO.

  • Format: Always keep structured (bullets, data points, screenshots/links if needed).

📌 Golden Rules

  1. Use Slack first → minimize email.

  2. Respect working hours (10 AM – 6:30 PM, Mon–Sat).

  3. Escalations → Follow Team Directory & Escalation Matrix.

  4. Keep communication short, structured, and actionable.

✅ This will ensure everyone knows how to talk, where to talk, and when to talk inside Cashkr.
